Rae Spoon is a female-to-male transgender hailing from Calgary, Alberta. He’s also a uniquely talented singer and songwriter with six solo albums under his name and a career spanning over a decade. Currently supporting his 2010 release Love Is A Hunter with a follow up record due in 2012, Rae sat down with me to discuss his experiences as a transgender artist in a staunchly heteronormative musical landscape.
